  I was so pleased and excited! I have had armadillos uprooting my new sod as well as other parts of my lawn. Finally contacted Blake and he set the traps one morning and by the next morning he had trapped 4 of the 5 armadillos. He is setting traps again soon to get the other one.

  They were very thorough, spread out a fine dust in the attic, in cracks/openings in the wall baseboard, removed electrical outlet/switch covers applied a fine dust, put caulk type bait/killer in hidden area under cabinets. Also removed all spider webs from outside of house and sprayed outside along eaves and approx 2 foot wide area along outside foundation of house. Applied Termidor initially ( I think law allows only 1 treatment a year of Termidor). Sprayed outside around windows/doors. No spray inside house. Returned to retreat as needed which was only twice in 9 months. Explained everything clearly. This treatment was only for insects not termites. My house is approx 2800 sq/ft with 3 bedrooms/2 bathrooms and a 2 car garage. The result was much better than the previous exterminator, who came every 3 months a just sprayed inside the house. The insects I now find in the house are usually dead or dying and the amount of insects is greatly reduced. I am very satisfied and will continue to use them. By the way I live in a rural area with thick woods all around me. No neighbors at all. I definitely would recommend Rick Ritter

  A smooth talking and nice kid came to my door selling his bug service. I asked the neighbors here and they also signed and were using Joshua's Pest Control. The smooth talk gave me a quote but did not bother to tell me taxes and etc so I paid and and let the 1st treatment go. They showed up and did the 2nd treatment and I watched what they did as best I could and it took all of about 10 actual minutes and the kid was on the phone on my patio texting and then sat in his truck texting. Again I feel like I was overcharged for what little done. On 12/27/23 a kid showed up again for the application and again I was inside and watched and timed what he did. He partially went around the windows. I can't see what he did on the side of my house out to my patio but again the kid texted about 5 minutes standing there on my patio. He did not use any brush up high to wipe down any cobwebs or even check. He did use a sprayer which I saw him use at the front door, across my driveway, can't see side of house and sprayed the patio inside slightly around the bottom but not necessarily all the way around. It has been raining and snowing so my patio was also wet so was hard to tell what he really hit with the sprayer. He then had some spreader with something in it, and he spread some of whatever it was across my front yard - again i cannot see what he did on the side of my yard or how much he did. He sat in his truck for another 5 to 10 minutes on his phone and finally drove away. Today I called to cancel my service as it is quite expensive for maybe 10 minutes of work. I spoke to one employee who then hooked up with another employee who was semi rude. She told me I could have them come out again and they could reapply and I said NO I AM FINISHED WITH YOUR COMPANY AND WANT TO CANCEL MY SERVICE! She told me that it was in my best interest not to cancel as I would be charged $161.00 early termination fee as I had signed a contract WHICH I NEVER RECEIVED A SIGNED COPY. I asked her to send me a signed copy and I would dispute any additional charges coming out of my credit card past yesterday's charge which I am willing to pay. I will write a bad review where ever I can and I've talked to a couple neighbors who also cancelled their service. I called my credit card company and warned them that Joshua's Pest Control MAY try to take payment of $161.00 on January 27th and if they do then I will dispute it! In the meantime, I went to my account on THEIR site and removed my credit card information so that they should NOT be allowed to charge me at least this way. The girl told me that they would turn me over to a collection agency then and ok do it if that is how you wish to handle this. SEND ME A SIGNED COPY OF THE CONTRACT PLEASE AND THANKS. I would NEVER recommend this company now to anyone and I will get on any on-line site I can to let others know what is in store for them should they hire this company. Extremely UNHAPPY with the way they do business. 1st treatment 8-24-23 showing $300 with a discount of $161.00 subtotal $139.00 THEN TAX WHICH WAS NEVER MENTIONED when the deal was sold to me Kid/Salesperson told me I'd owe $139. NO I OWED Tax $12.82 bringing the total to $151.82. They took payment from my credit card. I did not dispute but was not thrilled that I'd not been told the price with tax. 9/22/23 2nd treatment $139.00 plus $12.82 for $151.82 12/27/23 3rd treatment $139.00 plus $12.82 for $151.82 I DO NOT WANT THEIR SERVICE! FEEL TRICKED and SWINDLED

  When we first moved into our new home we signed a contract for pest control with the company recommended by the developer who built our home in Bay Hill Estates (The Preserve) in West Palm Beach. When that contract was up, we discovered that Hometown Pest Control provided MONTHLY (vice Bi-MONTHLY) service for just about ONE-HALF the PRICE. We used them for 3 years and were TOTALLY HAPPY with their service

  Very good with calls back, service calls and reminders. Started using them when I had a bees nest problem in several areas of my home and property. Liked them so much that I kept using them. I am thrilled that they started an annual service agreement contract. That way I do not have to remember to have the property sprayed and checked. They call and set up the appointment when they need access to the inside of the house and automatically come when they just do the outside. Very happy with them and at this point, I see no reason to not continue using them. I gave them a B on price only because my last pest control company was unbelievably cheap. Perhaps that is why he is no longer in business
