Can I rent a storage unit short-term?
At minimum, you can rent a storage unit for one month. Life Storage rental agreements are renewed on a month-by-month basis and can be canceled at any time.
How do I renew my rental agreement after I book a unit?
Your rental agreement will continue to renew automatically on a month-by-month basis until you're ready to move out. To end the agreement, notify your facility's office and move out before the next payment period.
What security measures does this facility have to prevent trespassing?
Life Storage has several security measures in place to protect your belongings. We use proper lighting and a 24/7 digital surveillance system to monitor the facility. Our password protected gates and doors, plus secure storage unit locks make sure only you can enter your unit.
Are storage unit locks provided at Life Storage?
You can either bring your own lock or purchase a specially made lock for Life storage units at a facility. We offer a great selection of high security locks in our online store and at facilities.
Can I access my storage unit during office hours and gate hours?
Office hours reflect when this facility's rental office is open. During both sets of hours, you can use your personal access code to open facility gates, building doors, and your personal storage unit.
