What is the best month to visit a sunflower farm? ›

There are two sowing times per year, which result in a vibrant display of these joyful blooms around Christmas time and then again in February/March. You can see the sunflowers from the road and sometimes there are no fences so you can get up close and take great shots without entering the crop.
